A good week for Bowman, who ran in two Diamond League meets in the space of 3 days, first clocking a season's best of 4:09.80 for 1500m in a loaded field at the Athletissina meet in Lausanne (July 8), and then trumping that with a very solid 4:08.22 clocking to place 7th at the Aviva Grand Prix in Gateshead (July 10). |

Huge break-through race for Wright in her first meet as a professional athlete (after signing with Nike the previous week) at the Prefontaine Classic in Eugene,OR on July 3. The 21-year-old UT grad clocked 1:58.22 to hack two seconds ogg her PB and finish 4th (and first American) in a stacked field. |
