Welcome to the website for the Comdata Brentwood 10K. This exciting new event, in its second year, finally brings a fast, flat, competitive 10-kilometer road race to middle Tennessee at a time in the year when weather should be conducive to fast running.
Five-kilometer races are a dime a dozen in middle Tennessee, but 10K (6.2 miles) races are harder
to find, and this one will serve as an ideal tune-up for those training for fall marathons like New York City, Memphis and Huntsville.
This 2nd annual event is a fundraiser for the Brentwood High School Athletics, and will start and finish at the high school, following a USATF-certified course closed to vehicular traffic and finishing inside the high school stadium on the track.
An $1800 prize purse with time bonuses promises to bring in some of the best distance running talent in the area. Indeed, several Olympic trials qualifiers have already committed to compete in the race.
For lesser mortals, this is a great opportunity to establish your new personal record over 10 kilometers.
New this year is a 1-mile Family Fun Run being held in conjunction.
