The Puma Music City Distance Carnival is Tennessee’s premiere track meet. In its short history, it has yielded more Tennessee all-comers records, State high school records, National Championships qualifying performances, and sub-4 minute miles than any other track meet in the state. The 2009 Music City Distance Carnival will take place on Saturday, June 6th at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro,TN Check out the video below of the Elite Men's Mile (in which 4 men went sub-4) at the 2007 Distance Carnival to get a taste of the action.

05.26: Flotrack will be providing video coverage of the meet. 05.25: 1:51 800m exponents, Jordan Chaney & Leomon Momoh, sign up for HS boys' Invitational 800m, and will attack James Gilreath's State record. 05.25: Mary Jayne Reeves (2:02/4:07 800m/1500m PR) has signed up for both the women's Invitational 800m and 1 mile. 05.23: Diane Nukuri, an NCAA All-American while at Iowa and an Olympian for her native Burundi commits to Kibby Clayton Memorial women's 5000m at MCDC. 05.05: Former Georgetown University stand-out, Matt Debole, commits to men's Invitational mile at MCDC. 05.05: Former Brentwood Academy star and 3:56 miler, Andrew Bumbalough, commits to Music City Distance Carnival. 03.15: Puma signs on as title sponsor of 2009 Music City Distance Carnival.
